Went here and all I can say is I’m sick of restaurants that rush you out, on a Friday night. Still drinking my wine and they are asking us about desert. I don’t enjoy spending 500+ only to feel rushed. It’s becoming the norm and I hate it. The food was ok, not worth the price tag in my opinion. . Think I’ll stick to my regular places.

I was recommended Funghetto when asking around for a restaurant to host my son’s Baptism. We had been in contact with 5 restaurants but decided to visit Funghetto first. My fiancé and I met with Gerardo and Chef Angelo discussing menu options and had a tasting, and we placed our deposit immediately. We had the Nerone Octopus salad (which after the tasting I dreamt of for 2 months until our event), burrata caprese, DOP cheese and prosciutto board, spicy frittura, 14 oz Rib eye, paccheri in roasted cherry tomato sauce, bruschetta chicken and Orata aqua pazza.Oh My God, what an experience.Firstly, the restaurant is gorgeous. From the Love installations to the wine walls and cozy ambiance. The staff is impeccable and everyone speaks Italian, which is so welcoming; they’re like a well-oiled machine.Everything we asked for, including the most beautiful wine, was in abundance. They communicated with us fromThe initial point of contact, through the planning process and until the event date, never saying no or needing to change plans, even when my guest list changed last minute.My guests are still calling two weeks later saying how amazing the event was, and how great the food was. I need to give due credit to Gerardo and Chef Angelo and their teams for running such a great business and for being so accommodating, available at any hour (even late nights while event planning and feeding a 6 month old), and welcoming.We will definitely recommend Funghetto to all friends and family, and will be back very soon.Grazie per tutto!

My husband and I enjoyed the best meal experience at Funghetto yesterday evening. Delicious appetizers, beautifully created cocktails, to mouth watering main course dishes. The ambience and service were both spectacular. There are many Italian restaurants in the Woodbridge area, but hands down this one by far is our new favourite go to and we would highly recommend.

After having an issue with a reservation, we were contacted by Funghetto Trattoria inviting us to come back and give them an opportunity to make things right.I am very pleased to say that we had an opportunity to experience one of the best meals I can recall in a very long time. Excellent culinary combinations by chef Angelo, everything was fresh and very tasty. Staff was friendly, and service was excellent.We look forward to returning again.

Visited back in April and had the best server! It took me so long to get to this review that I forgot her name but she was once of the best servers I've ever encountered!Tiger Prawn Pea Risotto 💕FritturaNerone Octopus Antipasto SaladFunghetto Veal ScallopiniRed Velvet Hybrid Cheesecake 💕The calamari, Octopus, and veal chop were all good but this is easily the best Risotto I've ever had! It was cooked to a perfect texture and bursting with flavour. Our server actually told us the chef specializes in Risotto 👌 Also never had a Red Velvet Hybrid Cheesecake before and it was amazing 🤤

My partner and I walked in on a Saturday evening and found this hidden gem! Modern, warm and intimate ambiance, amazing food and service. We were impressed by the deliciousness of every dish we had! Gerardo is more than a waiter; he explained every single dish in detail, made great recommendations and connected with us right away. It was a pleasure to speak to him in Italian!We will definitely return and we will bring our friends, too!
